Who we are
ministudiodesign ("we", "us") is a web design studio at 412 W College Ave, State College, PA 16801, USA. You can reach us at support@ministudiodesign.com or (505) 648-6522. We are the party responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
What this policy covers
This policy covers ministudiodesign.com and the information we collect when you browse it, send a project brief, place an order or contact us. It does not cover other websites that we link to.
Information we collect
- Project briefs. Your name, email address, phone number (optional), organisation (optional), the service you are interested in, your budget range and timeline, and the details you write.
- Orders. Your name, email address, phone number (optional), company (optional), billing address, kick-off preferences, current website address (optional), project notes, and the items you buy.
- Payments. Checkout is currently in test mode. No real payment is taken. Card details you type into the test checkout are validated in your browser and are never stored, logged or sent to us.
- Correspondence. What you write to us by email or tell us on the phone.
- Analytics, only with your consent. If you choose "Accept analytics", Google Analytics 4 collects information such as the pages you visit, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. We do not use it for advertising.
- Technical storage. Your browser stores your cart, checkout progress and cookie choice on your own device. See the Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the site is not aimed at them.
How we use it
- To reply to your briefs and questions.
- To process orders, send confirmations and receipts, book kick-off calls and invoice balances.
- To deliver the work you buy and support you afterwards.
- To keep records for accounting and tax.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site, only if you consent to analytics.
- To protect the site and prevent abuse.
Our basis for using it
We use your information to carry out a request you made or a contract with you, to meet our legal duties, for our legitimate interest in running and securing the studio, and, for analytics, with your consent. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using Cookie settings.
How long we keep it
- Project briefs that do not lead to an order: up to 24 months.
- Order, invoice and project records: as long as needed for tax and accounting, generally up to seven years.
- Analytics data: according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, no longer than 14 months.
- Correspondence: as long as the project or relationship continues, then up to 24 months.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right not to be treated differently for using these rights. Write to support@ministudiodesign.com. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use HTTPS across the site and keep the information we hold in accounts protected by strong passwords and, where available, two-step sign-in. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top. If a change is material, we will say so on this page.
