A small studio that designs websites and nothing else.
ministudiodesign is based on West College Avenue in State College, Pennsylvania. We work with small and mid-size businesses, startups, nonprofits and university-adjacent organisations, locally and across the US.
We started with a simple annoyance. Hiring a web designer meant booking calls, waiting for a quote and still not knowing what you would get. So we wrote the price, the pages and the timeline on the page, and made the website the thing we are judged on.
A website should cost what it says it costs, and belong to the person who paid for it.
Principles
Priced in the open.
Every package shows its price, page count and timeline before you talk to anyone.
Built to scale.
Small studio, careful detail. We draw the system first, then build it to fit you.
You own it.
Files, code, domain and accounts are yours from day one.
One studio, one phone number.
Websites only, based in State College. Call and a person answers.
What we do and do not do
| We do not | We do |
|---|---|
| Sell SEO retainers | Set up the technical basics at launch |
| Run ads | Build the pages your ads point to |
| Manage social media | Design the templates you will use there |
| Hold your files back | Hand over everything at launch |
What you can check
This website is our sample. Judge us on how it looks, how fast it loads and how clearly it is written. We show concept projects and label them as concepts. When we have client work you can name, we will show it instead.
